For our inaugural edition of Daily Dish, we’re chatting it up with Stone Cold Fox, a four- piece band out of Brooklyn. They’ve got new music for your listening pleasure, a show at the Knitting Factory on March 31st, and a recommendation for the best Lobster Roll in Maine.

Jennifer Logue: Tell us about the last song you listened to.
Stone Cold Fox: Computer Magic- “Fuzz.” Driving up to the studio this week, we blasted this leaving Brooklyn. Love this song so much. It’s like a perfect mix between Nine Inch Nails and LCD Soundsystem vibes.

JL: What was the last thing you ate?
SCF: I’m eating some Kix right now, actually! They’re great, SCF tested, mother- approved.

JL: Where’s your next show? Tell us about it!
SCF: March 31st at Brooklyn Knitting Factory. This will be the first time we’re playing as a four- piece! Playing with Maxo, Sean McVerry, and Madeline Mondrala.

JL: If your music were edible, what words would you use to describe it? Which song should we check out first?
SCF: Crunchy, toasty scrumtrulescent. Check out “Change My Mind!”

JL: Now since this is Daily Dish, you need to share with us your favorite food item from your favorite local restaurant back home. And…go!
SCF: I’m from Maine so we’re gonna go with this Lobster Roll from Libby’s Market in Brunswick, Maine. Hands down, it’s the best one I’ve had. It’s massive, way cheaper than the tourist trap bullshit. Go now! Drive to Maine!
